Delhi Daredevils finished off the play in just 13.4 overs. The fierce attitude and a great performance by the men in blue was the reason behind such a low score.

It was back in 2017 when Delhi Daredevils once more recorded one of the lowest runs in IPL matches. This time the game was against Kings XI Punjab on the grounds of Mohali. The team was bowled out at just 17.1 overs scoring 67. This is the fourth-lowest run scored by any IPL team ever. With a run rate of 3.9, it looks like the chase for Kings XI Punjab was way easy!

The fifth place in the list is bagged by Kolkata Knight Riders with a score of 67. In T20 matches, where the score is expected to reach around 100, KKR was bowled out in just 15.2 overs. In 2008, the Wankhede crowd witnessed this match where KKR scored 67 riding seven fours and one six. The match was against Mumbai and Sanath Jayasuriya performed enthusiastically by scoring 48 in just 17 balls.

On 23 April 2022, on the grounds of Bra Bourne, RCB recorded the 6th lowest-ever score in the IPL history against Sunrisers Hyderabad with a score of 68. It was back in 2019 on the grounds of Chennai when RCB was knocked out by Chennai Super Kings on scoring 70, which is the 7th lowest ever score recorded in IPL history. CSK won by seven wickets in just 17.4 overs. Ambati Rayadu’s performance was spectacular which made the run chase a bit easy for CSK. With a run rate of 4.02 against CSK, RCB stands at the 7th position in this list.
Kings XI Punjab, 14 May 2017
The Glenn Maxwell-led squad finished fifth and was eliminated from contention for the knockout rounds while Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) defeated Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by nine wickets and advanced to the Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs in second place. With Shardul Thakur taking 3/19 from his four overs, RPS decided to field and bowled out KXIP for 73, their lowest score in IPL history. The RPS batters needed 12 overs to secure the victory and go to the knockout rounds.

KTK recorded the 9th lowest score ever against Deccan Charges by scoring 74 in 16.3 overs. The match was played on the grounds of Kochi, and KTK chose to ball first. The fierce batting by Deccan charges made run chase a bit difficult for the Kochi Tuskers. With a score of 129, which is not at all easy to chase, KTK lost the game and recorded the ninth-lowest score on the list.

Chennai Super Kings stands in the 10th place in the list of the lowest-ever scores in IPL. CSK was bowled out at 15.2 overs scoring just 79 runs against Mumbai Indians. 5 times IPL champion, CSK made it quite a bit easy for the MI to chase runs. With six fours and 1 six, CSK was able to reach a score of 79. The match was played at Wankhede stadium, where the crowd witnessed an overall run rate of 5.5. A splendid performance by the batsmen helped MI chase the score with lesser effort.
